The redemption rate indicates what percentage of your orders placed over a certain period was paid for. Typically, the period when a specific order was redeemed is not limited, so this metric may change over time when analyzing recent periods.



### Where to find the redemption rate?

In the **My Store – Summary – Product Economics** section, you can find two columns:
- Redemption rate (≥ 30d)
- Redemption rate (≥ 30d) with returns

### What is the difference between a "sale" and a "redemption"?

It is important to understand that we call a **sale** the receipt of money for a product to your account. And a **redemption** is the sale of a *specific* order. That is, the number of sales for a certain period may differ from the number of redemptions, as these sales may relate to orders placed in an earlier period.

### Calculation methodology:

1. If you select a period of less than 30 days (for example, two weeks or even one day), we will extend the period to 30 days. If more, we will use the period you selected.

2. We will look for sales of the found orders within the obtained period + 30 days into the future. This matters if you selected a period in the past.

3. Orders that are still in transit (not delivered and not canceled) are not included in the calculations.

Then we calculate using the formulas:

**Redemption rate** = Number of sales / Number of orders

**Redemption rate with returns** = (Number of sales – number of returns) / Number of orders

### Examples

- Suppose it is April 2025 and you select a period in January, say, from January 15 to January 30. We will extend this period 30 days into the past, i.e., find all orders from January 1 to January 30. Then, we will find all redemptions of these orders from January 1 to March 1 (i.e., add 30 days into the future).

- If today is April 30 and you select the period from April 15 to April 30, we will extend the period to April 1 and look for redemptions in the same period – from April 1 to April 30.
